THE GHOST AT BROOKLANDS MUSEUM - PROMOTIONAL PHOTOSHOOT

With the kind permission of Brooklands Museum, I was allowed to use the iconic Napier-Railton race car in a photo-shoot to promote my novel The Ghost at Brooklands Museum. The car (which is a key feature in my novel and appears throughout) is a one-of-a-kind machine and is unique in its design. Frankly, as a vehicle it's completely bonkers! As an example of what I mean, instead of a regular motor it has a 24-litre aeroplane engine strapped to it, it weights over two tonnes and doesn't have any front brakes!

The Napier-Railton was originally built at Brooklands and will live in history forever as it holds the the all-time lap record for the Brooklands circuit. The car is now an exhibit at Brooklands Museum where these photographs were taken
